Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer, 754 pages

I have waited for this book for a year so of course I had to read it in one day and will not be very critical of it. After all, you can find fault with any book or series, especially one that's written mostly for young adults. The wait has been a lot of fun. Talking about what might happen with sisters and friends has been a lot of fun. The night of August 1st was like Christmas Eve when you don't know what Santa Claus is going to bring...okay, maybe not that exciting, but close. For me, the Twilight saga is like chocolate...a guilty pleasure. It's not that these are the best books or that there's anything profound in them but I have loved the story and the characters and am glad to see the story come to an end in a way that makes me feel like everything is the way it should be. I was a little weirded out in the middle of this book but by the end I thought it turned out well and now I can't wait to go back and read it again to see what details I missed in my day-long read-a-thon! I might dare say that this is one of my favorite love stories of all time. Make fun of me all you want.

I'll agree! I sometimes get sucked into love stories in books, but Edward is just too perfect! How could you not fall in love with him?!

Not having read any of these books, nor planning too either, all I have to say, I can't believe you read a 700+ page book in one day. Big hubby points to your man. I don't think that mine would be that accomodating.
