The Last Town on Earth by Thomas Mullen

For a first novel this is a good one. It is the story of an isolated town in the early part of the century that imposes a quarantine on itself to try to prevent the outbreak of disease. The townspeople face social and moral dilemmas along the way and I found myself asking "What would I have done in that situation?" It was a page-turner, hard to put down. There is a little language.
